Scarce first edition paperback of Whitehouse's first book. A somewhat infamous campaigner against what she percieved to be the moral degredation of moral society. While she was eventually awarded a CBE for her efforts, ultimately Whitehouse made little difference to the changing times. She was noted for her in-depth reviewing of all salacious material, which some contemporaries (cataloguer's grandfather) questioned the necessity of. She initially became a public figure via the Clean-Up TV pressure group, established the same year the Watershed was introduced - 1964.
